Bonjour mes amies! Wow, I truly have no clue where to begin (but I will.) I have now been in Dubai for quatre mois and I must say, nothing about this transition was on my previous Vision Boards. My journey has lead me to Kuwait, Georgia (the country), Abu Dhabi and more. I will write a proper post pertaining to this new chapter but for now, you can watch the journey via my YouTube weekly vlogs (click here to watch.)
As the year draws to a close, it brings a trés, trés unique blend of reflection, gratitude, and anticipation. It’s a time of year when the air turns crisp (unless you’re in Dubai avec moi), the days grow shorter, and we often find ourselves reminiscing about the highs and lows of the past months. But beyond the nostalgia lies a powerful opportunity: the chance prepare and be in alignment for the new year.
Reflect and Recharge
Before we can leap into the future, it’s essential to pause and reflect on the year gone by. I’ve been taking time to celebrate my accomplishments (no matter how small), cry about decisions and matters of the heart, all while extending myself grace and learning to navigate the uncertainties of life.
What achievements are you proud of?
Perhaps you completed a project, nurtured a new relationship, or even learned something new about yourself. Acknowledging these moments fosters a sense of gratitude and reinforces your strength.
During my time in Dubai, I have also learned and embraced that every obstacle and seeming “failure” holds a lesson that can propel me forward.
I have made the conscious decision not to end the year in cruise control. If I want 2025 to be a year filled avec promise and abundance, I need to prepare now and I hope that you will join me on December 1st 2024 at 09:00 EST to create Le Fabuleux Finish.
Maintenant, let’s get into the tips.

Set Intentional Goals
Setting goals is not just about making resolutions; it’s about being intentional in crafting the life you desire. Here are some strategies to help you create impactful goals.
- Be Specific: Vague goals can lead to vague outcomes. Instead of saying, “I want to be healthier,” specify what that looks like for you. Perhaps it’s committing to a workout routine or cooking more meals at home.
- Make Them Measurable: Define how you will track your progress. If your goal is to read more, set a target number of books to complete by the end of the year.
- Set Achievable Goals: While it’s great to aim high, ensure that your goals are realistic and within your reach. Break larger goals into smaller, actionable steps to maintain motivation.
- Relevance is Key: Your goals should resonate with your values and long-term vision. Ask yourself: Does this goal align with who I am and who I want to become?
- Time-Bound: Set a timeline for your goals. Having a deadline creates a sense of urgency and helps keep you accountable.
Cultivate a Supportive Environment
As you embark on this goal-setting journey, consider the environment around you. Surround yourself with supportive individuals who uplift and encourage your aspirations. Be mindful of who you share your goals with to ensure that your desires are being fueled and not dismissed (if joining a community that encourages is something you desire, consider joining the Accountability Group) because the more you vocalize your intentions, the more likely you are to stay committed.
Create a space that inspires you.
Whether it’s a dedicated corner in your home for reflection and planning, or simply a private folder in your phone that contains inspirational quotes and visuals.
Take Action and Adjust
Setting goals is just the beginning; taking action is where the real magic happens. Break down your goals into daily or weekly tasks that are manageable and actionable. Remember, progress is not always linear. There will be bumps along the way, and that’s perfectly okay. “Bend so you do not break” (click here to watch an extremely raw vlog about how I deal with depression and disappointment) and be willing to adjust your goals as needed. Life is unpredictable, and adapting to change is a vital part of the journey.
Celebrate Your Progress
As you move into the new year, take the time to celebrate your progress along the way. Acknowledge both the milestones and the small victories. Each step forward deserves recognition and can fuel your motivation to keep pushing ahead.
