Bonjour mes amies! When I shared that I was not shopping for the entire year of 2024 (click here to watch vlog), mes amies worldwide clutched their pearls (and Cuban link chains.)

This decision to not shop for an entire year came from a place of sustainability and abundance, not scarcity, and oddly enough, when I clarified my reasons for not shopping (i.e., not being financially based click here to watch), I “loss” a significant amount of mes amies (I use the term “loss” loosely because I am a firm believer that you cannot lose what’s meant for you.)

The point I intended to make was that when we operate from a place of scarcity, “I’m not shopping because I overspend,” etc., we attach a very scarce and negative connotation to some of life’s pleasures. I’m sure I speak for most of us that when we are told we shouldn’t or can’t do something, we’re more inclined or tempted to do it. However, when we approach anything avec a glass half full approach, we don’t feel that same level of temptation or defiance.

As I write this blog on the 21st of March, I have yet to feel the temptation to shop because I have an abundant mindset. Every day, I step into my dressing room, and I see that I am blessed to have created a sustainable, personalized collection of timeless pieces.

We have more than we realize.

Avec a shift in mindset (abundance) and perhaps a new set of eyes, we can positively decide to wear more of what we have and not feel that we are missing out.

I am beyond thrilled to share that I have created my premiere seasonal style calendar. Oui mes amies! Avec this calendar, you will NEVER utter the words “What am I going to wear aujourd’hui?” I have curated over 90 OOTDs (Outfit of the Day) visually, sharing avec mes amies how to style and restyle twenty items most of us have in our wardrobe.

In this calendar, I make a point to note that this is a guide. Not everyone looks good in an LBD (Little Black Dress), and not everyone has a physique that is flattered with a “classic” trench coat. I also share that designer items are NOT required to create a stylish wardrobe. Lastly, mes amies will find a few style “notes” throughout the calendar.
